CAREER IN MARTIAL ARTS

We welcome all the students and instructors to our organization Japan Karate-Do Nobukawa-ha Shito-Ryu Kai India (Japan Karate-Do Shito-Ryu International Renshikan) who desire to be a “Karate-Do Instructor”. Teaching martial arts is a big responsibility as it is an art of perfecting one’s character. The martial arts teacher also has a great social and moral responsibility towards society as he/she is preparing a person as a mature martial artist. So the teaching and approach established in the student must be in the right way so he/she becomes an asset to society and not a threat.

Earning in Martial arts is financially equivalent to the other professions of teaching. It is not a very lucrative profession and your greed to earn sometimes will end up selling diplomas, grades, and certificates which is very bad for society and as a martial arts teacher.

Today in the martial arts world around 70 -80 % of martial arts teachers hold high dan grades which are bought from national and international federations producing fake teachers and self-made Shihan, Renshi, Kyoshi, and Hanshi. Parents and people who are only aiming for Blackbelt diplomas for their kids or themselves are the perfect customers of these teachers. Parents and people must understand that Blackbelt will not make them stronger but the process towards achieving that Blackbelt makes them stronger. The average duration to earn a blackbelt is a minimum of 5 to 6 years and above. This has brought a bad reputation to the name and art of Karate-Do, hence looking to be a Karate teacher is a very tough job, and maintaining discipline, honesty, and sincerity in your work. 

It depends on your hard work, study, and approach towards the profession how well you study and how well you teach the people so it becomes helpful to them.

You cannot be a millionaire through teaching martial arts, but you can have a rewarding and satisfying life. When you find your young students turning into mature and responsible people of society it’s your contribution to society.

After your testing and evaluation, we shall grant you a license to teach and instruct on behalf of our organization. A martial arts instructor teaches people all aspects of martial arts, from tactics, self-defense, physical conditioning, philosophy, and history.
